This product is available in either 500mcg or 1000mcg doses and in packages of either #30, #60, or #90 capsules.

DOSAGE: Take one tablet a day.

Tesofensine works by blocking the reuptake of three neurotransmitters (dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin) in the brain, which leads to increased levels of these neurotransmitters. The potential advantages of tesofensine include increased satiety and fullness, decreased food intake, and improved weight loss outcomes.

Tesofensine has undergone several clinical trials for obesity and has shown promising results in terms of weight loss. Additionally, tesofensine has been studied as a potential treatment for other conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Tesofensine is taken orally once a day before meals with or without food.

Who should not take this medication?

patients that have a history of severe tachycardia (fast heart rate) or atrial fibrillation
patients with uncontrolled blood pressure
patients currently taking other medications that also inhibit the uptake of serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine (SSRIs like Celexa, Lexapro, Prozac, Paxil, and Zoloft; or SNRIs like Pristiq, Cymbalta, and Effexor; or NDRIs like Focalin, Ritalin, and Bupropion/Wellbutrin)
patients that take tramadol for pain issues
